Feedback Received from Grateful Patient
Thursday 4th June 2020
Our Bexley CRF team received a delightful message this week from Bob, a patient who has sadly had to come off the study on which he was enrolled. We are very grateful that he feels so positively about his experience of being treated in our facility and the care he received from our staff:
"Right from the get go the Leeds Clinical Research Facility (LCRF) team have been so caring, so kind and so reassuring. You will not know just how comforting and helpful that has been to me and my family. I know it sounds a bit daft and soppy but coming LCRF has been like having a big fluffy blanket wrapped around me. Please take it from me you all do the most amazing job. You do so much more than jab people with needles!! When I was diagnosed with terminal cancer what lies ahead seems very dark and bleak but you gave me reassurance and showed me there was light at the end of the tunnel and there were things to fight for. For that, I will always be grateful."
We would like to take the opportunity to thank Bob for his kind words. This kind of message does a lot to remind our staff why they do what they do.
