Quality Assurance Manager

Before joining Leeds Teaching Hospitals in 2011, Greg Langton was Scientific Officer and Deputy Quality Assurance Manager at the dermatology company, Evocutis, where he carried out laboratory research, coordinated clinical studies and was a member of the company’s in-house ethics committee.

At Leeds Teaching Hospitals, in addition to his role as Quality Assurance (QA) Manager for the Leeds Clinical Research Facility, Greg also has responsibility for QA within St James’s University Hospital laboratories and the Institute of Cancer Therapeutics (University of Bradford). Greg’s role covers the writing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), document control, internal audit and non-compliance reporting and he has developed clinical and laboratory quality management systems to enable NIHR Leeds CRF to achieve Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) standards.
