NIHR Leeds CRF carries out trials in a range of disease areas outside our core specialisms of cardiology, haematology, musculoskeletal disease, oral and dental health paediatrics and oncology. Our excellent facilities –particularly our state-of-the-art imaging capability – the expertise of our staff and the support we can draw on for molecular analysis and sample processing means we are able to conduct all types of early stage and complex trials.
The number of diseases we have worked in is constantly expanding and includes:
- Anaesthesia and pain management
- Dermatology
- Gastroenterology
- Infectious diseases (c-difficile), COVID 19
- Neurology (Parkinson’s disease epilepsy and stroke)
